Mother-child interacting with face painting, tatooing, and crafting.
Keiki O Ka Aina provided the face painting, tatooing, games, bubbles, powdered snow and picture taking activities while the prison provided the tents, music, and a BBQ lunch prepared by the prisons work crew.

There were many opportunites for mother-child bonding to take place
The Kids Day events are held six times a year at WCCC and give the incarcerated mothers an opportunity to interact and bond with their children. This was Keiki O Ka Aina's first time to sponsor the event and is on the schedule to sponsor the event two more times, once during Easter with another taking place in the summer.
