Word quickly got around that a rally and march was being organized to protest a federal appeals court ruling against Kamehameha Schools' Hawaiians only admissions policy. Keiki O Ka Aina quickly put together a banner and made calls to let everyone known that we would be joining in on the rally and march.
Members of our staff, families of our programs and children joined in to take part in the days event that began downtown at Iolani Palace and ended up at the Royal Mausoleum at Mauna `Ala in Nuuanu.

Keiki O Ka Aina Exexcutive Director Momi Guerrero-Durand and her daughter Kuulei were interviewed by KHNL News 8 while at the Mausoleum with Kuulei being quoted on that evenings news cast.
